1 Hour with the King
March 25th is the next 1 Hour with the King. It will be held in the Office Building Fireside Room. Please use the rear entry.
We have a prayer meeting from 9:00-10:00 AM on the last Sunday of the month. It is called 1 Hour with the King.
We see from scripture that when Jesus was in anguish in the Garden of Gethsemane he prayed by the hour.
Mark 14:37-38 And he came and found them sleeping, and he said to Peter, “Simon, are you asleep? Could you not watch one hour?
Watch and pray that you may not enter into temptation. The spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.”
Every tragedy or blessing, in life will happen within the hour. So keeping watch for one hour is a way of appreciating the effort Jesus made in his prayer life and acknowledging our call to be watchmen in these perilous times. Most of us are willing to pray, but the spirit is always weak, so it must be trained.
Please join us as we invest 1 Hour with the King.
