Senior Pastor: Dan Bonney (top left)
After growing up in the Dominican Republic, Pastor Dan attended college and seminary in the States. Following marriage to Paula, he returned to the Dominican Republic and lived there for 14 years. With their sons, Christopher and Jordan, they came to Spokane Valley in August of 2003.
Pastor Dan writes, "One of my strongest convictions is that the church should be a loving and caring family; a safe place where we are encouraged to grow in our Christian faith. Church should be a healthy connection; not only to God, but also to each other and to our community. At OCF this is our goal. We invite you to join us."
Director of Family Ministries: Philip Amene
Philip and Melody are former missionaries with Youth With A Mission (YWAM) - they have a big heart for young people, the less privileged and the body of Christ. Philip was the former youth pastor of Jesus Is Lord Project Mercy Ministry located in Nigeria that ran a big orphanage where his wife worked as the secretary. Philip attended the University of the Nations (YWAM) and has an AA in Biblical Studies and is very close to completing his BA in Biblical Studies.
Director of Youth Formation & Development: Missy (Melissa) Hudson (bottom left)
Missy joined our OCF Staff Youth Director. She moved back to Spokane from Longview, WA, where she was the youth director at the Longview Free Methodist Church, under Pastor Scott Hemberry. Missy was part of the OCF youth group when she was in high school, so she knows our church. She holds a BA in Christian Studies from Grand Canyon University.
