OUR GOAL

We want to support these seven ministries with a total of $1,500 each for a total missions goal of $10,500 for the year of 2023.  Join us in doing our part to support these missions and organizations.

  • eric & virginia spangler

    As Asia Area director, Eric has three strategic priorities. He oversees the FMWM missionary team in Asia. He partners with national leaders to build support strategies that will help expand the church. And finally, he works to purposefully connect FMC-Asia with FMC-USA, building mutually beneficial partnerships and relationships. Pastor Eric and his wife, Virginia, have served the Free Methodist Church since 1990.

  • Roger & Ellen haskins

    Roger and Ellen have served the Free Methodist Church for 40 years in various ministry roles – including Roger’s eight years of service as a bishop of the FMC-USA. As they retired from pastoral ministry in the U.S., they began a new area of ministry and service. In January 2020, they joined the FMWM-Asia missionary team, serving to provide support and development for national leaders across Southeast Asia.

  • gene & minori hall

    Gene and Minori Hall began serving in Japan in August 2019. With Christians comprising only 1% of the population, there is an urgent need for the gospel in Japan. The Halls serve in the area of leadership training in Southeast Asia and Japan, working to equip Christian leaders with the tools to lead well. Their primary focus is developing faithful leaders who develop more faithful leaders, resulting in the multiplication of the gospel, disciples, churches and new leaders.

    World Relief is a global Christian humanitarian organization whose mission is to empower the local church to serve the most vulnerable. We aim to tackle the world’s greatest problems with holistic, locally-driven solutions that lead to lasting change — whether in response to disastersextreme povertyviolence, oppression or mass displacement and immigrationWorld Relief’s work in the United States, specifically, focuses on helping refugees and other immigrants in vulnerable situations rebuild their lives in a new country.

    We strive to build healthy communities with zero tolerance for exploitation, where people can experience holistic freedom: not just freedom from injustice, but freedom for a greater purpose. Our vision is not only to seek justice, but to pursue shalom. How we engage is as important as what we do. We start by equipping community leaders and teams who come together to pray, learn about the issue, dialogue, build relationships, partner with others, and eventually form a context-specific, community-informed strategy to address the root causes of human trafficking in their own neighborhood.

    Our vision is to see vulnerable communities around the world spiritually restored through the love of Jesus Christ. 
    We're on mission every day to see this vision become a reality by equipping Families, Churches, and Schools as we work towards spiritual restoration for systemic change.

    We work with local communities to restore forests on a massive scale, thereby creating jobs, protecting ecosystems, and helping mitigate climate change.
