Family life mission
At OCF, we love kids and families! In fact, loving families is at the heart of everything we do. We believe church is a place where kids should love to be. Our Family Life Ministries Team devotedly creates engaging and fun activities where kids feel welcome and safe. We use Bible stories and biblical truths to reflect on our own lives and learn how we can have a positive effect on our families and communities around us. We learn how to say a daily yes to Jesus, engage our world as a mission field and actively care for the vulnerable.
Sunday mornings
Kids Church
We currently offer Sunday morning Kid's Church opportunities for ages 0-5th grade.
We use two fabulous curriculums for our Pre-K to 5th grade students. Kingdom Quest teaches classic Bible stories in fun ways to keep our little learners entertained. Crafts, songs and lots of play makes this class perfect for our younger kiddos.
Simply Loved digs a little deeper into these stories to help older kids discover Biblical truths and how to apply them to their own lives. Using fun animal Bible Buddies and great music videos to help kids engage, is the winning key to this great curriculum. Each quarter both curriculums focus on one theme or Bible character, allowing kids to feel at home anytime they pop into class.
Family Sunday Service
On the 2nd Sunday of every month is our Family Sunday Service. All kids 2nd grade and older join their families in our Sunday Service. Pastor Dan adds a special kids moment during the service. This is also our Communion Sunday. Kids are welcome to join their parents in receiving the Lord's Supper.
At OCF we love having the opportunity of having our kids be a part of our Sunday Service. What a beautiful chance to show them how we worship as a church family.
Teen & Young adult group
It's is all about friends, fun and faith! We focus on discovering God's plans for our lives and cultivating friendships with fellow believers. We also have a ton of fun! All teens, ages 6th to 12th grade and post-high school young adults are welcome to join. We meet the last Sunday of each month after service (around 11:15 am), in the fireside room (basement of the office). In addition to our monthly meetings, we have quarterly adventures such as laser tag, Silverwood, or beach days. Check Church Center for upcoming events and updates.

All ages
Join us every Wednesday in July, 10am to noon, for fun in the sun in our church yard. All families are welcome! Bring a towel and blanket.

Next Step
Early Learning Center
Next Step has been operating in partnership with Opportunity Christian Fellowship since 2005. Our three classrooms facilitate seven different classes for children ages 2-6. We offer half day classes with an option of 2, 3, 4, or 5 day per week class schedules. For more information, Click Here for our website.
