We are following the Christian liturgical calendar, which centers the year around the life of Jesus. This current season is known as Ordinary Time. Ordinary Time is more than just counting the weeks until the next big event. It’s a time to walk with Jesus and grow in our faith, becoming and making disciples. This season, we invite you to reflect on where you are—both as individuals and as a community. We’ll start by looking at what’s familiar: the things we see and do every day, perhaps so often that we’ve stopped truly noticing them. But we need to pause, take a fresh look, and see with new eyes, because this is where we are right now.
